THE WRITERS’ NETWORK TENTH ANNUAL SHORT STORY/POETRY/PICTURE BOOK CONTEST
CONTEST RULES:
Short Stories for adults: Submit only unpublished fictional short stories of 2,500 words or less. Entries must be in 12-point serif type and double-spaced. The title and page number of a short story must appear at the top of each page.
Poems: Any type, form or genre, including traditional verse, free verse, prose poems, etc. Send one unpublished poem per entry, not to exceed five entries per person, 40 lines or fewer per poem. Each poem will be read and assessed for its own merit.
Picture Books for Children: Submit double-spaced manuscript not to exceed 1,000 words in 12-point serif type. The story title and page number should appear on each page. No art will be accepted.
All entrants MUST be residents of Broward, Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Martin, Collier or Lee counties in Florida.
