Top 5 Fav Teen Movies

I was inspired to write a top 5 list since it's a great way to get a post up quickly. The challenge however is that I'm such a major movie fanatic it was very very very hard to ween the list down to only 5 Favs. These are my top 5 Fav teen movies that I love to watch again and again. What are your top 5 Fav Teen movies?

5. Casi Divas (2009) - I like this movie because it made me laugh and it's very entertaining.
Plot: Four ambitious and beautiful young women. From four very different corners of Mexico. Just like hundreds of others, they are caught up in the frenzy that sweeps the nation when Alejandro Mateos (Julio Bracho), one of the country's most powerful producers, dreams up a nationwide talent search to cast the lead in his next big movie.

4. SuperBAd (2007) - This movie was super funny.
Plot: Two co-dependent high school seniors are forced to deal with separation anxiety after their plan to stage a booze-soaked party goes awry.

3. River's Edge ( 1986) - The movie fascinates me because it reveals a side of humantiy we often ignore. It shows how society can be so egocentric that we are not easily compeled react, help or interfere.
Plot: Keanu Reeves stars in a movie about a high school slacker kills his girlfriend and shows off her dead body to their friends. However, the friends' reaction is almost as ambiguous and perplexing as the crime itself.

2. S.F.W.(1994) - I like this movie because it reminds me of that feeling of invincibilty we all have as teens. Nothing is impossible.

Plot: Stephen Dorf stars as an alienated and misanthropic teenager gains sudden and unwanted celebrity status after he's taken hostage by terrorists where his indifference to their threats to kill him makes news headlines.

1. Sixteen Candles (1984) - This movie is so funny and at the same time touching. It's my favorite John Hughs movie.
Plot: This is Samantha Baker and today is her 16th birthday. The problem is, nobody remembers.

I can see why you made these choices - but I wouldn't be able to go past "Ten Things I Hate About You". A blog that made me think, thank you.
